The amazing thing is that we rarely have snow in the city of Vancouver. This is because it is usually too warm for snow in Vancouver, which is just a few feet above sea level. Snow is usually found only at higher elevations. After an afternoon of skiing on one of the local mountains, you can return to the warmer air and green gardens of Vancouver.
