Teachers at Vancouver English Centre enjoy a friendly, supportive and orderly working atmosphere.  At VEC, we do everything possible to help our teachers work effectively.

Our curricula are comprehensive and organized.  Lesson plans are carefully prepared in advance for substitutes and new teachers in each of our 16 levels.  From the first day on the job, each new teacher is shown the ropes by an experienced mentor.

Our teachers have the latest technology at their disposal, including new digital copiers, computers and audio/visual units.  We have a substantial library of ESL learning resources, to supplement our in-house workbooks. 

With six computer labs, 47 classrooms, a large multi-purpose room, and a coffee shop, our campus is the ideal place for serious teachers to work. Our campus is located in downtown Vancouver, close to the library and the trendy shops and restaurants of Yaletown.
